Education is fast developing in Nigeria but the content and quality needs to be looked into. Nigeria as a nation cannot be more developed than the quality of its educational system.

We need to step up the game. Every good virtue and moral standing is traceable to education. Just as every social vice and moral decadence is also traceable to education.

Improving on our infrastructure and equipping our schools is a welcomed development but the truth is life is lived from inside out. While making the environment very conducive for study, the government and other private investors and agencies should also as a matter of first priority look into the quality of work being done in our schools.

If truly the quality of education is increasing then examinations malpractices should be declining proportionately. The reverse is the case.

We at Gifted Minds International Academy seek to first proving a level play ground for schools to improve on the quality of the Education of their pupils and students while providing the needed basic amenities in Schools.

A recent study GMIA conducted on schools in Ughelli, Delta sstate, NNigeria showed that over 80% of the schools are really below the expected standards in terms of quality of education, infrastructure and exams standards.

We truly desire change in our country but this change may be stagnated or elude us all if the quality of our educational system is not checked.

One of the driving catalyst for the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations is education.

It is therefore imperative for all school owners, principals, Teachers, parents and students to rise to the occasion and stand up and fight for the best quality of education in our schools so as to further reduce all other endemic issues associated with the absence of quality education such as poverty, corruption, crime, disease, injustice etc.
